Blanchette and Hicks win YAIAA golf titles

Northeastern's Caden Blanchette dominated the course at Briarwood, blazing a round of 6-under 66 to win the YAIAA boys golf title. Blanchette finished ahead of 2023 YAIAA low-scorer Dallas Inch of Central, who fired a 1-under 71. Lane Krosse of Dallastown won a playoff against York Suburban's Callahan Harrell for third place. Both shot even par. 

Taylor Hicks of Dallastown was just as solid, carding a 5-over 77 to capture the YAIAA girls golf crown. Hicks was seven strokes better than Olivia Kury of York Catholic and eight ahead of Delone Catholic's Kat Keller. 

York Suburban wins YAIAA team golf title

September 26 - York Suburban won the 2023 YAIAA team golf title. The Trojans combined to shoot 14-over par at Briarwood Golf Course. 

Suburban finished eight strokes ahead of Central York. Delone Catholic placed third.
